Position: Clinical Therapist – Contract

Location: New Mexico – In Person and Remote

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based and person-centered therapeutic techniques.

• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.

• Collaborate with an integrative team to provide holistic care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.

• Current licensure in the state of New Mexico for an Independent, Non-Independent or Provisional.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy for individuals.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Mesa Vista Wellness offers practicum and internship opportunities for aspiring mental health professionals seeking hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our program is designed to help students fulfill their program’s hour requirements while developing essential clinical skills.

Interns and practicum students will work alongside our licensed clinical supervisors, receiving both one-on-one and group supervision. You’ll gain direct experience providing therapy for individuals and groups, while also learning various therapeutic approaches and specialties. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, enriching experience that prepares you for a successful career in mental health.
